Nathan Quirk fired as Liverpool U18s had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
Mike Marsh's charges played some great football on the day and created a hatful of chances but just couldn't find the net, and against the run of play the Railwaymen went in front.
Quirk netted the equaliser and the Reds had a great chance to win it, but Jordan Lussey missed a penalty.
