Substitute Tony Silva fired home a second-half double as Liverpool under-18s came from a goal behind to beat Derby County 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The Portuguese youngster struck twice in five minutes just after the hour mark to turn the game on its head, after the Rams had threatened to go away with an undeserved victory.
It means Rodolfo Borrell's side have now won four of their last five matches and will head to Huddersfield for next weekend's encounter full of confidence.
Liverpool under-18s: Oldfield, Flanagan, Robinson, McGiveron (Silva 55), Sama, Wisdom, Coady, Roberts, Ince, Adorjan, Ngoo. Subs: Emilsson, Cooper, Chamberlain, Roddan.
