Liverpool players have pledged their support to a charity being setup in memory of James Bulger.
The James Bulger House Appeal is aiming to raise £1m in order to build a Red Balloon learner centre for bullied children.
After taking in a behind-the-scenes tour of Anfield, James' mother Denise and family visited Melwood last week to meet the players and staff and enlist their support for the cause.
Reds' captain Steven Gerrard said: "It was a pleasure to invite Denise and family to Melwood to meet the players.
"Red Balloon is a great cause and important project. If youre able to donate then visit their website."
Jamie Carragher added: "For me, the work that Red Balloon does with bullied children is second to none.
"I have no doubt that this will help victims of bullying on Merseyside."
Red Balloon aim to build a centre on Merseyside to provide a safe place to study for bullied children aged between 10 and 17.
They hope to rebuild the confidence of students, help them to regain control of their learning and aid their return to mainstream education or employment.
Similar facilities are run in Cambridge, Harrow and Norwich.
