Welcome to the brand new official website for Liverpool Football Club.

After months of work behind the scenes we are delighted to launch a new-look for Liverpoolfc.tv.

Last re-launched in April 2004, Liverpoolfc.tv has won numerous awards and established itself as the most visited football club website in the UK as well as one of the most visited sports sites on the web.

But just as Rafael Benitez is always looking for improvements on the field, we felt the time was now right for us to launch a brand new website giving you an even bigger content offering and the chance for you to interact with fellow fans more than ever before. This new release follows extensive consultation with fans as we believe you the supporters deserve a website you can be proud of.

To help your journey through the site be as smooth as possible, we have divided each area into different sections for you to browse and enjoy.

Our News channel brings you all the latest updates from Anfield, Melwood and the Academy. Updated frequently throughout the day, this is where you'll find the latest official club news, features and a look at what the media are saying about the Reds.

For all the latest information on the Reds last match and next encounter, and to find out the latest ticket news from the club, visit our Match and Tickets channel, where you can also find a handy travel guide and all you need to know about Anfield, Melwood and the Academy in our brand new Stadium section.

If you want to find out more about the stars of today and the potential stars of tomorrow then our Team channel is where you'll find detailed profiles of our first team squad, the management and technical staff at Melwood and our Academy youngsters.

The Fans channel will be home to The Kop - a soon to be enhanced User Generated Content area, in which you'll be able to write blogs and share photos and videos with fellow fans all over the world. This new and exciting feature will be coming soon to Liverpoolfc.tv, but for now you can still create your own profile, post on our message boards and play 'Team Selector' - your chance to second guess Rafa and predict the starting eleven for our next game

Also in the Fans channel is an area devoted to our younger fans where you can take part in a fun quiz, have your Kop art on display, learn about the history of our great club with 25 must-watch videos, play games and cast your votes in our latest online polls. If you're a younger Liverpool fan - or have children of your own who share your passion for the Reds - then you'll love the Kids section of Liverpoolfc.tv.

We chart our incredible past with 100 must-read articles, we've got profiles of every player to ever play for the club and for the first time we can bring you the result and teamsheet from every match the Reds have ever played. There's also a brand new 'Hall of Fame' where we salute the 20 greatest players in our history and we've a complete record of every trophy the Reds have ever won. It's a history to be cherished and proud of - so make sure you visit this new area of the website today.

While we all know about the work going on on the field at Anfield, behind the scenes our award-winning community team are helping spread some Anfield cheer throughout the local area and beyond. Our Community channel brings you right up to date with the many initiatives taking place as Liverpool FC plays its part in bringing communities together.

There's plenty more things of interest that you'll find as you work your way through the website but it's only right that we point out that despite the considerable amount of time and effort we've put into ensuring all of the information on this website is correct and up to date, as with any new venture we're aware there may be some teething problems which still need to be ironed out.
