The very special friendship between supporters of Liverpool and Borussia Monchengladbach is set to continue.

The Borussia Monchengladbach official supporters' club will leave the town of Monchengladbach on Christmas day at approximately 3pm local time via bus to embark on their annual pilgrimage to Liverpool to support the Reds at Anfield.

They're expected to arrive at noon on Boxing Day in plenty of time to watch Liverpool entertain Wolverhampton Wanderers in front of the Kop.

Monchengladbach supporters have made a yearly trip to Anfield to support Liverpool every year since 1992.

In 1991 they donated 21,000 Deutsch Marks (approximately £7,000) to the Hillsborough Disaster Fund - an amazing gesture that we as Liverpool supporters should never forget.

There will also be a Liverpool/Monchengladbach fan party in the city centre immediately after the Wolves match.
