Liverpool have confirmed Stephen Darby is to join Swindon Town on loan until May 31, 2010.

Goalkeeper David Martin is also on the move and has joined Nigel Clough's Derby County on loan until April 10.

The former MK Dons stopper will make his debut for the Rams on Saturday at Doncaster Rovers.

Commenting on his capture, former Reds striker Clough said: "We're delighted to have been able to land a goalkeeper of David's quality at such short notice.

"I would like to thank Liverpool for allowing David to join us."

Coincidentally, he is the second player in the Rams squad called David Martin as Clough has a midfielder with the same name.
