Gerrard out of Braga clash

Steven Gerrard has not been included in the travelling party for our Europa League clash in Braga.

We will have more news on the skipper later today but in the meantime we can bring you a full list of the 24 players heading to Portugal for the last-16 first-leg tie.

Several players who cannot feature are with squad, including the ineligible Luis Suarez and injured youngsters Martin Kelly and Jonjo Shelvey.

The travelling party is: Jones, Johnson, Meireles, Suarez, Carroll, Cole, Pacheco, Kyrgiakos, Maxi, Kuyt, Lucas, Wilson, Carragher, Ngog, Reina, Spearing, Poulsen, Shelvey, Kelly, Skrtel, Hansen, Gulacsi, Flanagan, Mendy.
