Glen Johnson tweeted his disappointment after hearing news of Fabio Capello's resignation as England manager.
Capello quit on Wednesday night following the saga which saw John Terry stripped of the England captaincy by the FA.
Johnson had established himself as first-choice right-back for the Three Lions under the Italian's stewardship.
Shortly after the news broke, Johnson tweeted: "Sad news to see Capello step down. Good man and a good manager. #ThanksForEverything."
