Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has described Kenny Dalglish as his 'absolute hero'.
Asked about The King's return to management as the pair prepare to shake hands on Wednesday night, the Bloomfield Road boss recalled some of his own encounters with Dalglish.
He said: "He was an absolute hero of mine as a footballer and I thoroughly enjoyed his life story.
"I once asked him for an autograph after I had been sacked at Leicester. He thought I was joking and told me where to go!
"He is a very dignified man and when I was sacked at Bristol Rovers he spoke very openly and honestly to me.
"I'm sure the fans will love having Kenny Dalglish back. He is a lovely fellow.
"I don't know the ins and outs of it, I am just a bystander but I know Kenny is a lovely man and good luck to him - but not on Wednesday.
"I don't want him to have have any luck then. I hope he has stinking luck."
