Lucas Leiva has set himself the target of contributing more goals as he looks forward to the 2010-11 season.
The Brazilian midfielder - who was this week crowned LFC Young Player of the Season - managed only one goal this term, albeit a brilliant effort in the 4-1 win against Benfica at Anfield.
His goals tally is something he's looking to improve.
"It was a good goal against Benfica," he told LFC Weekly. "To be honest though, this season I have been a bit unlucky with the goals. I could have scored more than I have. I have had a few chances, but unfortunately couldn't score.
"At least I have been in some scoring positions so hopefully next season if I have these kind of opportunities, I will take more and be able to contribute more goals in the season."
The full Lucas interview - including who his nomination for Player of the Season would be - is in this week's LFC Weekly magazine, plus an expert view on new signing Jonjo Shelvey.
