There was joy for Chris Mavinga after France came from behind to beat Spain 2-1 and become UEFA U19 European Champions on home turf.
The former Paris St Germain defender had an outstanding 90 minutes and he now follows in the footsteps of Fernando Torres in 2002 and Alberto Aquilani in 2003 in winning this prestigious tournament.
Pacheco and Spain were the better side in the first half and Liverpool's No.47 created the opening goal of the game with a perfectly weighted pass which saw Rodrigo run through to score.
Spain then had chances to increase their lead and should have made it 2-0 three minutes into the second half, but seconds after missing a great chance France were level.
Arsenal striker Gilles Sunu found the net with a nice finish after a through pass sent him clear.
France then began to look the more likely to score again and five minutes from time substitute Alexandre Lacazette headed home a Gael Kakuta cross.
Overall Pacheco ends the tournament emulating Torres's 2002 four goal total, and he has the consolation of being named Goal.com's World Player of the Week and winning the Golden Boot for being top scorer.
