Midfielder makes Greek switch

Liverpool have completed the transfer of Damien Plessis to Greek outfit Panathinaikos for an undisclosed fee.

The Frenchman moves to the Trifylli after failing to break into Roy Hodgson's first-team plans.

Plessis arrived at Anfield from Lyon in the summer of 2007 but failed to force his way into the Reds midfield, featuring just eight times and scoring one goal.
