"The fans have been great with me since the day I arrived and it's a mutual appreciation," Reina told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"They are very special people and I hope to give them a little bit back of the passion they gave to me and the team with many trophies.
"This is a wonderful club and it's a unique experience to play at Anfield in front of our supporters. They also follow us everywhere we play and they are amazing.
"I have said many times that this is the club for me and I have no doubts about that. That's why I signed for six more years.
"I believe in this club and I am confident that we can achieve more great success - I wouldn't have signed otherwise.
"We have this wonderful history and we want to add it in the years to come."
Meanwhile, Reina has also paid tribute to Rafael Benitez - the man that gave him the opportunity to become Liverpool's last line of defence.
"Rafa is the man who brought me to Liverpool and the man who gave me confidence," he added.
"I would like to say thank you to Rafa, all my teammates and the supporters. I couldn't be happier at Liverpool."
