New boy Joe Cole trained with his Liverpool teammates for the first time in Switzerland today - here's the best of our snaps.

We revealed on Monday afternoon the England international had agreed a four-year deal with the Reds, subject to a medical.

After flying out to Bad Ragaz last night, Cole joined in a training session led by Roy Hodgson - and our photographer was on hand to bring you the below images.

if this were facebook, i would 'like' this a thousand times and another thousand times over. for a long time we've been living in our history and past achievements, but hopefully we can start talking more about making history. can't wait to see joe do exactly that at liverpool
