Liverpool Reserves are aiming for a cup double this afternoon when they take on Skelmersdale United in the final of the Liverpool Senior Cup, at the Ashley Travel Stadium, at 3pm.
John McMahon's young side produced a brilliant performance to beat Oldham Athletic's first team 3-0 in last weekend's Lancashire Senior Cup final, and this is another chance for some silverware.
Admission at the Ashley Travel Stadium is £8 for adults and £4 concessions. If a child is accompanied by an adult then admission is free, but if not admission for children is £2.
"The lads are looking forward to it and it should be a good occasion," McMahon told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"We put in a superb performance against Oldham's first team last week and it was very encouraging because we had what was predominantly an U18 team.
"Credit to Skelmersdale who have played well to get to the final and this will be a tough game for the lads."

Two of the stars of the victorious England U17 European Championship team, Conor Coady and Andre Wisdom have been pivotal performers for McMahon's side in pre-season so far and their partnership at the back has pleased the reserve team boss.
"It was fantastic for Conor and Andre to play so well for England in the summer and they are a credit to themselves as well as this club," he added.
"It shows how much good work has gone on at the Academy under Frank McParland, Pep Segura and Rodolfo Borrell and a lot of credit goes to them to coaching these players.
"Conor and Andre are new to the reserve squad this season but they are brilliant to have around. Their attitude is first class, they are winners, they want to learn and they are characters. They both want to be professional footballers with Liverpool."

It's a new era off the pitch for the reserves this season as they will now be based full-time at the Academy in Kirkby.
"We were always planning to move the reserves squad to the Academy for a couple of reasons really," he added.
"One is the limited space down at Melwood and two is it's nice for the reserve squad to have a good base and then they can aspire to get to work with the first team at Melwood which is the ultimate aim.
"The transition has been an easy one and it's good because when we want to use younger players from the U18 team to come and train with us we can.
"We will be still be playing matches against the first team which is always a great experience for the young lads and it gives them the chance to show the manager what they are capable of."
