Jordan Henderson skippered England U21s as they secured a 3-0 win over Iceland in a Euro 2013 qualifier on Thursday night.
The midfielder was joined in the starting XI by Liverpool teammates Martin Kelly and Jon Flanagan as Stuart Pearce's side eased to the top of Group Eight.
Arsenal's Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain proved to be the match winner with a well-taken hat-trick.
England U21s now face Norway on Monday.
