As Gary Ablett's second string prepare for their final league game of the season at home to Newcastle tonight, we conclude our reserves in profile series by talking to Icelandic midfielder Victor Palsson.
The youngster, who celebrates his 18th birthday tomorrow, signed a two-and-a-half-year deal in January after joining from Danish outfit AGF Arhus.
Palsson is viewed as one of the brightest talents to emerge from Iceland in recent years having represented his country at U17, U18 and 19 level.
Best and worst things about Liverpool?
The best thing is the people - very friendly. The city centre is fantastic as well. The worst thing is the food.
Anything in particular you don't like?
Fish and chips - horrible.
Who spends the most time in front of the mirror among the ressies?
Krisztian Nemeth is always checking his hair.
Best player you've played against?
Fabio against Manchester United Reserves.
Who would you most like to play against?
Xavi from Barcelona, or Rio Ferdinand.
What's on your iPod?
Kings of Leon - I've got all their albums.
Strengths?
I'd say I was physically strong and good in the air.
Weaknesses?
Tactical awareness.
Career highlight?
Joining Liverpool. From a small club in Iceland to the biggest club in the world in the space of two years is incredible.
Biggest influence?
My family. My mum and little sister have been really supportive, moving from Iceland to Denmark with me, then from Denmark to here.
