The Portugese youth international had an inspired game as the young Reds gave a superb account of themselves.
With England U17 heroes Andre Wisdom and Conor Coady immense at the back, McMahon's side played some terrific football.
Gerardo Bruna played his first game of pre-season and scored a well taken goal, and Alex Cooper also found the net.
"I am absolutely delighted with the lads and they did so well against Oldham's virtual first team," McMahon told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"There was some very good performances and we did well as a team. It's a great sign for the future."
