Skrtel injury latest

Liverpool have confirmed Martin Skrtel will not require surgery on a broken metatarsal in his right foot – but the defender is expected to be out of action for up to eight weeks.

The Slovakia international sustained the injury in a heavy challenge during last Thursday's victory over Unirea Urziceni in Bucharest. 

And an x-ray has revealed Skrtel is facing two months on the sidelines.

bad news :( skrtel is like a brick wall in our defence sad to hear his gonna be out for so long. YNWA
