Striker moves to Greece

Liverpool have confirmed that striker Krisztian Nemeth has joined Greek outfit Olympiacos.

The Hungary international was signed from MTK Hungaria in 2007 but despite several pre-season first team appearances, he never made his bow at a competitive level.

Nemeth will now team up with former Reds winger Albert Riera at Olympiacos.

i believe he's been sold as this deal was mouted some time ago, but i guess some details must have needed more time to sort out. really sad to see him go, but he will certainly thrive with regular action and i hope we inserted some option to get him should we want him back
