Gus Sharkey from www.westhamonline.net provides the view from Upton Park ahead of Saturday's encounter...
How are West Ham fans feeling about their tea-time trip to Anfield?
We love an away day regardless of what's happening on the pitch, so we'll look forward to it as per usual with spirits high and full of hope that we can finally notch a victory at Anfield after 47 years.
What's going wrong down there at the moment?
It's the same old, same old: too many players not busting a gut and a manager that seems unable to do anything about it.
The fans' view on your manager?
They're mixed as we all want Grant to succeed but he's done some bizarre things so far and one win out of 13 isn't good enough, even though it was against Spurs.
Players who need to improve?
Where do we start? If I had to pick one it would be Ilunga. When he first came on loan he was excellent, then we gave him a contract and since then he's been poor, injured and has now become a liabilty.
Players we need to be concerned about?
Super Scott, Noble and Piquionne, but it all depends on what formation Grant uses this week.
Who do you rate on our side?
Oh dear, Torres when on song is probably the best centre-forward in the world and with our defence he could have a field day. If I was a betting man I'd lump on him to be first goalscorer.
What can we expect from the away fans?
Grant Out (only kidding), plenty of the usual Bubbles, Twist & Shout etc...
Best and worst memories of West Ham at Anfield?
This fixture always fills me with dread. We occassionally turn over Man U, Arsenal etc on their own patch but for some reason we fall apart the minute we set foot on the Anfield turf. My worst memory of Anfield was the last game of the season when we had to win at Anfield to stay up. We had the audacity to take a 1-0 lead and you took offence and roundly thumped us 5-1. As for best memories, well.....................
Score prediction?
Liverpool 1 West Ham 2 It's got to be this year, hasn't it?
