Fernando Torres has lent his support to the fund raising effort for the charity Lupus UK.
The Spain striker autographed a special portrait at Melwood on Tuesday, and the canvas will now be auctioned off to raise cash for the charity.
Last month, Steven Gerrard helped gather an impressive £650 for Lupus UK with a similar signed portrait sale.
Part-time Liverpool FC Academy Scout John Hibbs, who will auction the signed painting, said: "Meeting both Steven and Fernando has been an amazing experience.
"Seeing the smile on my sister's face as she battles against lupus was unbelievable.
"I can't thank Liverpool, Steven and Fernando enough for all the help they have given in making these signed paintings possible."
Hibbs, a former apprentice at Crewe, is also planning to run this year's London Marathon as part of his awareness and sponsorship campaign.
"My sister was diagnosed with lupus two years ago," he added. "Lupus has many symptoms as the body's immune system attacks itself.
"There is no cure, so I decided to show my support to my sister and thank the charity for the help they have given us by running the marathon and raising as much awareness and money as possible."
