The race for the top four hots up next weekend when Liverpool face Manchester City - but there's still a long way to go before anything is decided.
We've taken a look at the remaining fixtures for all four contenders - and as you can see there is potential for lots more twists and turns yet.
Liverpool are up against table toppers Chelsea in their penultimate game - but it could be argued that Spurs and City face even tougher run-ins.
Roberto Mancini's men still have to face all of their top four rivals as well as Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd. Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp might have a few headaches when he looks at the fixture list for April.
Here's how the run-in looks for each of the sides gunning for Champions League qualification:
LIVERPOOL
Feb 21 - Man City (a)
Feb 28 - Blackburn (h)
March 8 - Wigan (a)
March 15 - Portsmouth (h)
March 21 - Man Utd (a)
March 28 - Sunderland (h)
April 3 - Birmingham (a)
April 11 - Fulham (h)
April 17 - West Ham (h)
April 24 - Burnley (a)
May 1 - Chelsea (h)
May 9 - Hull (a)
Inside view: "We are in a much better position now than a month ago, which is really good. If we can keep winning games and stay in a good position, then the addition of Torres, Yossi and Johnson will be good. Not just because they are good players, but also for competition in each position." (Rafa Benitez)
MAN CITY
Feb 16 - Stoke (a)
Feb 21 - Liverpool (h)
Feb 27 - Chelsea (a)
March 6 - Tottenham (h)
March 14 - Sunderland (a)
March 20 - Fulham (a)
March 29 - Wigan (h)
April 3 - Burnley (a)
April 10 - Birmingham (h)
April 17 - Man Utd (h)
April 24 - Arsenal (a)
May 1- Aston Villa (h)
May 9 - West Ham (a)
TBC - Everton (h)
Inside view: "I'm even more confident now. In my first three or four games we have played very well after we've lost players to injury. I'm confident when I recover all the players we can win. We must remember we have two games in hand and if we win them we go fourth. We have a good chance if we win these games. When we recover all our players I don't think it's a problem.'' (Roberto Mancini)
TOTTENHAM
Feb 21 - Wigan (a)
Feb 28 - Everton (h)
March 6 - Man City (a)
March 13 - Blackburn (h)
March 20 - Stoke (a)
March 27 - Portsmouth (h)
April 3 - Sunderland (a)
April 10 - Arsenal (h)
April 17 - Chelsea (h)
April 24 - Man Utd (a)
May 1 - Bolton (h)
May 9 - Burnley (a)
Inside view: "The previous seasons don't lie. Liverpool have always been in the Champions League. They had a blip at the start of the season and people said other people can get in there but, if I'm honest, if you want to get in the Champions League then Liverpool will be the toughest side to displace. We have to make sure we are in there and in a position to do that." (Peter Crouch)
ASTON VILLA
Feb 21 - Burnley (h)
Feb 27 - Hull (a)
March 6 - Sunderland (h)
March 13 - Stoke (a)
March 16 - Wigan (a)
March 20 - Wolves (h)
March 27 - Chelsea (a)
April 3 - Bolton (a)
April 10 - Everton (h)
April 17 - Portsmouth (a)
April 25 - Birmingham (h)
May 1 - Man City (a)
May 9 - Blackburn (h)
Inside view: "It is unavoidable to talk about a top-four place. It is kind of crazy. The other sides are stronger than us in terms of the strength and depth and that would be my concern. We've got a group of players who are absolutely excellent, and I would be concerned if anything happened to them." (Martin O'Neill)
