Liverpool are planning to raid crisis club Portsmouth for talented teenager Sam Magri.
The defender, 17, is heading to Anfield for a week-long trial today after catching the eye of Kenny Dalglish.
The England under-17s skipper has been pencilled in for a run-out in Friday night's reserve team derby with Everton.
And once the Reds have monitored his performance, they will arrange a fee with Pompey's administrator Trevor Birch.
