Liverpool target Esteban Granero has emerged as a shock target for Real Betis according to a report in Spain this morning.

Diario de Sevilla claim Real Betis want the player on loan.

Dalglish has long been linked to the Spaniard, and it was reported Liverpool were on the verge of agreeing a loan deal for the 24-year-old just yesterday.

However, with Betis struggling in La Liga it seems likely Liverpool would be the preferred destination for Granero.
