A return to Germany is likely for Liverpool full-back Philipp Degen.

The Switzerland international has been told by Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson he can leave Anfield this summer.

Stuttgart and Borussia Monchengladbach are interested in Degen, who is available from Liverpool for £500,000.
