Swedish left winger Alex Kacaniklic arrived at Liverpool from Helsingborg in the summer of 2007.

Within two years he was promoted from the Academy and he now fights for a place in John McMahon's reserves.

A naturally gifted footballer with a sweet left foot, Kacaniklic is capable of scoring spectacular goals as well as making them.

A wonderful effort against Arsenal in the FA Youth Cup final at the Emirates Stadium in May 2009 showcased his undoubted ability.

He has also represented Sweden at U16 level.
