Thomas Ince is the son of former Liverpool captain Paul and is a very exciting prospect.

He was one of the stars in the FA Youth Cup team that reached the final last season and he produced some sparkling performances.

A stunning free-kick against Leeds United at Elland Road was one of the highlights of his season as he formed a brilliant partnership with Lauri Dalle Valle.

Ince can play as a left winger but he also excelled playing just off the striker in the Steven Gerrard role.

He has a sweet left foot and will look to make more progress this season.

He ended the 2008-09 season playing for the reserves in a tournament in Holland.
