Pacey winger Paul Anderson signed for the Reds from Hull City in January 2006.
The deal, which followed an extended trial, saw John Welsh go in the opposite direction.
It marked a remarkable turnaround for Anderson, who a year earlier had been released as a trainee from West Brom.
The Leicester-born starlet was part of our FA Youth Cup winning side in 2006. His performances helped earn him a place on the bench for a Champions League tie against Benfica in March of that year.
He has yet to make his competitive senior debut, though has featured in several friendlies, the first of which against Wrexham in July 2006 saw him score.
The right-sider spent 2007-08 at Swansea City, scoring eight goals in 36 appearances to help them gain promotion from League One.
A season-long loan at Championship side Nottingham Forest followed, where he netted twice in 26 outings.
Anderson, who is contracted to Liverpool until 2011, has also been capped by England U19s.
